A recent study shows that Gen Y women are spending more time in the workplace than any other generation of women. Although women have gained more prominence in the office and have made strides in leveling the playing field, many challenges remain. According to the infographic below, 66 percent of Gen Y women come across visible female role models in the workplace, and 65 percent believe women have achieved office equality with men. However, Gen Y women are “less likely to speak up than their male counterparts” when it concerns proactively managing their careers or requesting a raise.
