The Culture-ist has an extensive network of contributors from around the globe. Some are travelers, others are women’s rights activists, authors, experts or environmentalists. We’ve also had journalists contribute controversial stories about global issues and photographers who want to share their powerful cultural experiences through evocative images.
Maybe you’re just a Millennial that wants to change the world. Whoever you are, we want to hear your story.
You don’t have to be a professional writer or photographer, you can be a student, an expat or just someone who is passionate about culture, travel, food, philanthropy, women’s issues, sustainable initiatives or innovative small businesses doing awesome things.
We offer our contributors a variety of opportunities from invitations to media events to networking among our eclectic community of writers. We always include the author’s bio and a link to his/her website. The Culture-ist has been featured on National Geographic, Architectural Digest, AFAR, GOOD and Gothamist, and our stories are regularly syndicated on AOL, Business Insider, Google Field Trip and The Huffington Post.
