Be Inspired: Trailblazing with Ford Fiesta

With Fall in full gear, why not take the opportunity to explore the outdoors on scenic bike paths around the country? More and more cities are making an effort to create pedestrian-friendly spaces, paths and trails, so that people can enjoy the beauty in and around cities without having to worry about interferences. These are just a few trails worth traversing during the height of this gorgeous season.

River to the Sea Bikeway, Wilmington, NC

Farmington Canal Heritage Trail, New Haven Conn.

Medicine Bow Rail Trail, Lake Owen, Wyo.

East Bay Bike Path, Bristol, R.I.

Arkansas River Trail, Little Rock, Ark

Ohio to Erie Trail. Cleveland, Ohio

Greenbrier River Trail, Caldwell, W.V.

Chief Ladiga Trail, Anniston, Ala

Eastern Trail, Kittery Maine

Moab Canyon Pathway, Moab, Utah

In the spirit of adventure Ford gave 100 YouTube personalities a Ford Fiesta for the year, and each month these “agents” are challenged to a mission, which they document and share on YouTube. The project is helping spread awareness and excitement about these missions and agents who are well-prepared for anything thrown at them ““ no matter how adventurous, insane or challenging.

Justin James Hughes, a chosen agent, was inspired to create a project that would better the environment. He custom built a bicycle to match his Fiesta then hit the trails to encourage people to use this eco-friendly mode of transportation when it’s not necessary to drive. Justin’s video shows his commitment to the challenge, which will hopefully inspire others to explore creative ways to do their part for the environment.
